My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you want to adopt Boots, fill out this application form FIRST!: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053

Boots is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near Rochester, New York or a city listed at the bottom.
If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.

Boots is a mixed breed; our Apple AI guesses are all over the place. So, we are guessing Cattle Dog/Catahoula mix and just turned a year old (December 29th).
-She's 32 pounds.
-Came in with another dog and gets along with other dogs as well
-Very, very friendly
-Walks well on a leash
-Quiet, well mannered. Doesn't bark much.
-Her ears stand up straight when she hears something interesting.
-Hates going in her kennel so we are assuming she is housebroken. If not, we are sure she can learn quickly.
-We can test her with cats but we assume she wouldn't have any issue.

Boots is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test (done on Dec 12th), on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.

Adoption fee is $650; this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost.
If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form (LINK ABOVE), please contact us again at 580-257-0622 or luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com.

More about this shelter

***All dogs are physically located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma***
Tishomingo Animal Shelter is a no-kill dog shelter ran by the City of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. All dogs are well-cared for and socialized by our animal control officer, Jordan, and volunteers.
We have a supporting 501C3 non-profit, Lucky Paws Doghouse Inc, that helps with the spay/neuter and vaccination of all dogs at the shelter; the Venmo donation link on this page goes toward the 501C3.
Dogs up for adoption nationwide are currently being fostered at Lucky Paws and are not in the shelter.
We are working on getting dogs adopted in the Northeast US and adoption fees (listed in each dog's profile) reflect all included vetting AND the $250 transport fee.
