Her Story:
When we first moved to our Flying Dogs Rescue Ranch, Bonita would sneak into the shelter to nap on soft bedding, only to run back to the streets when she saw us. Neighbors told us about her heartbreaking story of surviving on her own for years. During one of her pregnancies, she endured a traumatic birth when a puppy was trapped for 1.5 days before being helped. Determined to give her a better life, we worked tirelessly to earn her trust, provide medical care, and rehabilitate her.
