My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kip is a smal beagle with white and tan coloring.  He weighs Approximately 23 lbs. and is approx 7-8 years old. Kip is gentle and wants to be with his person but not in an
overwhelming way. He is content to sit on his bed near his person. He has not
attempted to jump on the furniture. Kip is just the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We walk for
about 3 miles every day. He is excellent on the leash. At this point Kip is not a dog that plays with balls or toys. He is happy to be near his person.  Kip has been living in a house with three smaller dogs and two dogs that are about his size. There has been no aggression or negative behavior. On walks he is routinely around larger dogs with no signs of
reactive behavior.  Kip has not met any kitties yet.  But does not pay attention to birds or squirrels. Kip is housebroken and does not appear to be a runner.  He does not have any separation issues but does bark in his crate.  He shakes and is definitely scared in there.  So he would be best left out of a crate. Kip is just the sweetest and smartest dog. He learns routines fast and learns commands easily. He can sit and stay. if you would like to meet Kip please fill out an application on our website bcaaofnj.org

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Submitting an application is always our first step - it's free to apply! bcaaofnj.org

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.

More about this rescue

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
