Nigel is currently living large with foster mom, Janette. But it wasn't too long ago he was found out on his own roaming in Athol. Good Samaritans along the way kept him safe and soon enough, Nigel was in thru the barn doors of Furry Farm.

He is a super sweet old man, and we would love to match him up with someone who would love to let him enjoy the more tranquil side of life and keep these adventures in his past.

Nigel is an all-around awesome old man, and you would be crazy to not want his company. He does great with other dogs, listens well for being an old man, and has a heart ready for loving on his human!

The Furry Farm Rescue Adoption process:

For Dogs:
When you find an animal you would like to find out more about and meet, please go fill out our adoption application. With review of your application we check references and speak to your veterinarian. During that process we will also schedule a time for you to come meet and get to know your new furry friend. If you have other animals, we will want to do some intros at that time. We then ask you take a few days to think about it and let us know. We will then come to your house and do a final meet and greet before finalizing the adoption. All adopters sign a contract with the Furry Farm Rescue. All of our adoptions come with a 2 week trial period. This allows you to and your new furry friend some time to bond and know if this is a forever family.

Our Adoption fees vary between $50 to $275 for dogs. Each dogs fee will be listed in their biography.

For Cats:

Our Adoption fee for kittens is $60, and $40 for adult cats over 6 months. The adoption fee is listed in their bio.

We do an application process, and reference checks, then schedule a Meet and Greet. If all is great, we finalize the adoption at that time. All of our adopters sign a contract, and there is a one week trial period.
