Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello and thank you for your interest in Maria’s Puppies. We have five females and one male still available for adoption and we are welcoming interested families to fill out one of our adoption applications. Please follow the attached link to our online adoption application form. Adoption Application or you can find the form on our website www.deservingpetsrescue.com under adoption form. If you would please read it, fill out the questionnaire and send it back with as much information as possible so we can continue the adoption process. After we receive and review the application, we will contact you.
Maria came to us via the Tehama Animal shelter. She came to the shelter as a stray, they reached out to us because they realized she was pregnant and we had a foster available. She was brought to the vet clinic where several of our volunteers’ work. Our organization has been volunteering and fostering for the local animal shelter for the past couple of years and many of us work at a veterinary office. We specialize in rescuing animals who need medical care, rehabilitating them and then rehoming. Maria gave birth to seven puppies on October 16th and they will be ready to go to homes after they turn 8 weeks old on December 11th. Maria and her litter have been in one of our foster homes for the past couple weeks growing and being socialized. Maria is a chihuahua and possibly rat terrier mix who weighs around 8 lbs., she has a black and tan short length coat, long We're guessing the pups to be around 10-15 lbs full grown.
The puppies have been vet checked, de-wormed, vaccinated, started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. The fee we are asking is $300 to offset some of the vet care and food costs plus a $50 neuter deposit. The deposit is refunded after you send proof the puppy was altered at your vet when age appropriate. So please fill out an application and let us know if you have any questions.
Jennifer (Foster/volunteer)
Jamaica’s mom, Maria, showed up as a pregnant stray at the local shelter and had 7 puppies on Oct 16th. Raised in a foster home, Jamaica is the smallest of the litter with a gentle, charismatic personality. The puppies have had their vet exams, microchips, first vaccines and heartworm prevention. They are healthy, happy puppies and although growing fast, they still seem small weighing just over two pounds each. Adoption fee $300 plus spay deposit. Email us for an application and more information.
