My name is Mr. Rochester!

This is Mr. Rochester. He will be 7 years old this coming June and has been with us since he was a small pup.

This year we welcomed our first baby into our little family. In early December 2024, he bit our baby in the face while the baby reached for an empty bowl.

Back in 2018, he also nipped one of our nephews after the nephew leapt up for a hug.

When it comes to children and babies, Chester has often shown high levels of stress and anxiety.

In general, Chester is an anxious dog. He is really reactive to strangers and does not always get along with other dogs, especially if they are bigger than him. He does better around strange dogs outside his home. He was raised with an older brother and a cat. He has lunged at and been aggressive towards the cat in the past.

Chester is incredibly loyal and will follow you around. He loves to cuddle and listens really well.
