Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Lucy is an approximately 10 year old spaniel mix who is unbelievably sweet and loves affection.
She loves walks, does well in cars, no known health concerns (aside from putting on a little extra lbs during the winter because I don’t get as much exercise) but she walks around in snow no problem, even loves camping. She doesn’t really play with toys, doesn’t mind kids, she just doesn’t pay attention to them. sometimes is skiddish around large dogs -though we also have a big Husky mix who she is fine with. She’s totally fine with cats.
She’s also very adaptable to new surroundings, she’s moved with me (7 times) one of which was from California to Bismarck 3 years ago in my car. Has always been fine when I’ve needed to get a dog sitter. She is house trained to go on potty pads but if you take her out enough she won’t need to use it.
Finding a new home for her is deeply hard for me, but I’m having a baby in March and I just know she’ll need more love and attention than I can give her. 😔
