Zipper is one of a large group of rabbits that came to Marin Humane after being abandoned outside. It was clear she and her cohorts were previously housed in unsanitary conditions, leaving their fur matted and dirty. Thankfully fur regrows, and now that she is receiving proper care and grooming her soft, snowy white coat is starting to replace the old yellow stained hair. Zipper is starting to come out of her shell. She can be shy at first but then settles in and approaches for petting. She likes to dig in her bedding or a digging box would be great for her. She is curious and likes to explore. And Zipper enjoys having a big plastic ball to toss and push around. Also having a variety of other toys is fun for her too. Overall Zipper is a lovely bun. She definitely deserves lots of indoor space to explore and a loving family. Especially after having a pretty rough start.
