Meet Zazu

This 1-year-old, 49.7-pound Lab mix is full of love and personality. Surrendered through no fault of his own, Zazu is ready to find a forever home where he can shine. According to his previous owners, Zazu is housetrained, crate-trained, and even got along well with their cat and other dogs. He’s the total package—a friendly, goofy boy with a heart of gold!

Zazu is playful and active, so he’ll need a home that can keep up with his youthful energy and zest for life. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a long walk, or simply being your adventure buddy, Zazu is up for the challenge.

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Applications and contracts are required for adoptions. An effort is made to make a home visit before the dog goes into the new family. The adoption fee ranges between $150 and $200. Included in the fee: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm testing, preventatives, and years of happiness and laughter.

LUV A DOG is a 501c3 non-profit rescue whose goal is to find homes for dogs that have either been strays, in shelters, rescued from neglect or abuse, or owner surrenders. Safe, warm, dry, and loved is the promise made to these homeless dogs.
