Meet Molly a 2 year old labradoodle who recently came to us as an owner surrender. She has quickly become a true love bug and according to her foster she’s been their easiest foster to date. She is absolutely adored by her people and is especially fond of roughhousing with her foster brother Murphy.
Molly is a bit of a needy girl when it comes to attention and you won't be able to sit down without her right by your side, ready for snuggles. She’s the perfect companion if you’re looking for a dog who’s always up for some affection.
At first, Molly wasn’t a fan of her crate and would reluctantly go in but she’s made great strides. She now loves her crate as a safe spot and often heads there on her own for meals and quiet time. It’s heartwarming to see her embrace this as her cozy space!
Molly loves her people so much, she’s not a fan of being outside alone. If left outside with another dog, she’ll explore for a bit but then quickly scratch at the door to come back in. She also likes to have you go out first—she’s a little cautious and prefers to follow your lead.
Molly is potty trained and can be trusted out of the crate during the day. She is a bit of a picky eater and needs a little extra encouragement to finish her meals—she loves a spoonful of wet food or even a boiled egg mixed in!
Molly is a calm, gentle soul. She’s not very vocal and only barks when she wants attention. She’s still learning some basic commands—currently working on sitting for treats (although right now, she’ll take one and run away with it, only to come back for more later!).
Her leash manners need a little work, too. She tends to walk from side to side, but with a short leash keeping her close, she’s comfortable walking by your side without pulling.
Molly would thrive in a home where someone is around a lot or with another dog for companionship. She's gentle enough to be around kids, too.
Molly just wants to love and be loved in return. Could Molly be the snuggle buddy you've been looking for?
