Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Dallas is our 3-year-old Chihuahua with a heart full of love to give. She absolutely adores people and dreams of being the center of attention as the only pet in her home. Although she’s shy at first, Dallas warms up quickly. A calm, adults-only home is ideal for her since young children make her a little nervous. She also needs a secure fenced-in yard to safely explore and enjoy her outdoor time. Dallas thrives on love and affection, so if you're looking for a loyal companion who will soak up all your snuggles and cuddles, she’s your girl! Apply to adopt Dallas at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com
Dallas' adoption fee is $100.00 and includes a first shot, worming, and sterilization. Please fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you 2-3 business days. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.

More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
