My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tommy is a handsome 1-1/2 year old male kitty who was brought to HSOV on December 10, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who had found him on Walsh Road in the Vincent Ohio area about five weeks earlier. With the upcoming frigid winter weather, that kind individual knew that Tommy needed to be safely indoors where he would be given good care and plenty of food.

Tommy has an orange tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with amber-colored eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.

This good-looking guy has an affectionate, outgoing personality and loves attention. He comes running to the front of his cage the moment he hears the click of the door latch to give head butts to politely ask to be petted. Tommy appears to be good with other cats and children.

Tommy was given vaccinations and Drontal wormer on December 11, 2024. He was given booster vaccines on December 25, 2024 and weighed 9 lbs that day.

Tommy was combo tested on December 11, 2024 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

These photos of Tommy were taken on December 27th when we snapped a few quick pictures while he agreed to 'sit pretty' for awhile before scampering to the front of his cage for petting.

Since Tommy was not reclaimed, we will have him neutered (tentatively in late January 2025) and find him a loving forever home.
