My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruce is one silly guy. He may be standoffish upon first meeting, but Bruce really gets excited to see the people he knows and loves. Car rides are his favorite activity, and he loves to go for long-line walks and learn new tricks for treats. His previous family said he did well with male dogs, but we would need to test any potential dog siblings with this guy. Bruce is always very happy to see a familiar face and will wiggle to greet someone he knows.

The best kind of home for Bruce:
Bruce is a very sweet dog who will thrive in a home with some structure. He was previously adopted and returned after displaying some odd behaviors, none of which we have seen in the shelter. Our behavior staff can help interested adopters set Bruce up to win with more information about how to manage his quirks and avoid problematic behaviors. He would do best in a home without children and should meet any other dog in the home before adoption.
