Meet Liberty! This resilient pup was found as a stray, bravely getting around using only her front legs due to severe injuries to her back legs. After three surgeries, including the amputation of one leg, Liberty has proven to be a true fighter with a heart full of joy.

At just 25 pounds, Liberty is a happy-go-lucky girl who runs fast, plays hard, and lives life to the fullest! She’s great with both dogs and cats and is about 90% potty trained. While she needs a little help navigating stairs, her small size makes it easy to lend her a hand.

Liberty is still a playful puppy, so continued training will help her shine even brighter. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, spirited companion, Liberty can’t wait to meet you!

To adopt a pet, we encourage you to visit the Pet Adoption Center as often as you like. You will be asked to fill out an adopton application and speak to a staff member who will help you make your selection. We are happy to keep your information on file and work with you to the best of our ability to help you find the perfect pet. Adoption fees are $60.00 this includes, spay or neuter, microchip, worming, some vaccinations, and heartworm test for. We offer a feline leukemia test for $15.00 non refundable at the time of adoption.

We are located across from the St. Charles Community College, approximately 3 miles south of I70 and 1 mile north of Hwy 94 on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday 10am to 6:30pm, and Saturday 10 to 4pm

St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center is a full service animal shelter. Our Animal Control Officers work throughout St. Charles County to protect animals and people and educate animal owners about responsible pet ownership. At our Pet Adoption Center, we take in strays for safe keeping until their owners come to claim them. We offer microchipping services to the public during our regular business hours. The Pet Adoption Center always has a large variety of dogs and cats available for adoption.
