Introducing... Millie. The sweetest dog on the planet.
Millie is a kind, gentle old soul. She came to us from a shelter completely shut down. With the loving care of her foster parents and their dog Sam, she has become a quiet cuddle bug who is learning how to play. She's still shy with strangers, but in her comfortable home environment has nothing but love to give.
Millie is a perfect 37-lbs and has recently been treated for heartworm. She is approximately 3-yrs old, crate trained, house trained, leash trained using a harness and learning her basic commands. Our best guess is that Millie is a Spaniel and according to our Breed ID app, Lab mix. No matter what her breed makeup is, she's absolutely perfect.

Almost Home Dog Rescue NC is a small foster-based rescue group in Western Carolina. After volunteering for years in a local county animal shelter, we could not turn away from the dogs that needed our help the most. We have created a home environment with comfy cabins for the pooches in our fun red barn and provide loads of fun, enrichment and training for the pups in our care.
