Meet Iris: A Sweet and Resilient Siamese!

In September, a pregnant stray Siamese cat appeared at our home in downtown Greenville. Without a tag or collar, she quickly won our hearts, and we started feeding her. Then she disappeared, and we assumed someone had taken her in. Weeks later, she returned—no longer pregnant and ready to bond with us.

In October, Iris led our daughter to her two kittens, hidden safely nearby. When a hurricane hit, we brought Iris and her kittens inside. After helping her wean the kittens, we found them a loving home. We decided to keep Iris, falling in love with her sweet and resilient nature.

Iris has been spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and negative for feline leukemia. She’s friendly, beautiful, and healthy. Unfortunately, our other cat is very insecure and struggles with her presence. While Iris isn’t bothered, we want her to have a home where she can thrive without stress.
