BACKGROUND: A local rescuer had saved this trio as kittens, but when her husband’s unexpected death sent her life into a turmoil she asked if we could help them find loving forever homes.
PERSONALITY: Vega, Orion, and Draco are sun-loving sweethearts who enjoy birdwatching along with their sunbathing (and laser pointers!). They like a little adaptive time, though they welcome your attention if you will give them the courtesy of giving pets from behind their heads and not reaching directly toward their faces. All three will join you on the bed at night. ---Vega (or “little girl” since she is the smallest) is full of energy and loves to play with you! She will jump and run like crazy for her string toy, zoom through tunnels, and race up and down the halls. Vega will play hard then sleep at your feet at night. She loves to be petted all over (except for her head) and isn’t afraid to meow for attention. She is still a little unsure about being carried though clearly loves human company. ---Orion is a big boy and a big love bug. He’s kind of like a sloth because he is soooo slow and chill and unafraid. He just wants to hang out with you in the kitchen and lounge around. However, if you get a feather toy out to play, Orion turns into a different cat and runs and runs and runs until he is out of breath! Also on Orion’s list of favorite things: fluffy blankets, belly rubs, and fooood. He’ll make someone an instant best friend. ---Draco is the most reserved and needs more time to adjust and get acquainted with new people. Once he gets to know you, Draco will allow belly rubs (and he loves a good brushing), seeks out your company, and sleeps at your feet. He wants to be loved so much. He is the most playful and can jump SO high! Draco can catch anything in the air and when it comes to playtime he’s on fire and nonstop. He has tons of energy for adventure/play and will race up and down a tall cat tree in addition to his incredible leaps.
