Poor Ramen has had a rough go and came into the shelter filthy, soaking wet and covered in painful mats. He is a sweet dog that is very playful and kind. He will be neutered and groomed before he goes to his new home. Ramen will need a new family that understands the need for regular grooming due to his breed so he will not ever be covered in mats again! Ramen is fantastic with everyone he meets and is easy to walk and work with. He doesn't know much and will jump up on people so he will need a home where he can learn how to be a proper citizen!!

At City of Vancouver Animal Services, we have a foster-to-adopt program whereby prospective new owners foster the adoptable animal for 21 days before committing to adoption. This ensures that both the new owner and the adoptable animal are well suited to each other.

Donation

We gratefully accept monetary donations, as well as donations of supplies for dogs and small animals. Monetary donations are used to help pay for veterinary care and supplies, particularly for stray animals that have extraordinary medical issues that must be treated before they are ready to be adopted. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $20 or more. How to make a monetary donation: -Cheques payable to “City of Vancouver” can be mailed to: Animal Shelter, 1280 Raymur Avenue, Vancouver V6A 3L8 -Call 311 and ask to be transferred to Animal Services to pay by credit card -Email your name and phone number to animal.services@vancouver.ca We will phone you to request your credit card details. If you let us know a convenient time to call, we’ll do our best to call you then. -Visit Animal Services at 1280 Raymur Avenue We accept cash, cheque, debit or credit card

We have dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. While puppies are popular, older dogs can be great pets, too. They are smart and grateful companions that won't leave you with puppy puddles or chewed-up slippers. Why not enrich your life and that of an older dog?
