My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brendal is a cute female Tortoiseshell kitten who was brought to the HSOV on September 5, 2024 after she was found on Buckeye Avenue in Marietta Ohio fending for herself. Brendal was a tiny 4-week old baby at that time who weighed just one pound.

Fortunately for this little waife, one of our compassionate foster mothers took her home that day and gave her the best temporary home ever.

Brendal has a dark brown/black/orange/beige short smooth coat in a tortoiseshell pattern, a long tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a beige stripe on her muzzle/forehead, and long black whiskers.

Brendal was given wormer on October 10- and October 24, 2024. She was given first vaccines on November 2nd. Brendal weighed 2.4 lbs that day. She was given booster vaccines on November 15- and November 30, 2024 .. and was given flea treatment on December 2, 2024.

Brendal shared her fabulous foster home with another foster kitten (Earth), and they became bestest friends. Her foster mother and Earth helped tiny Brendal develop her social skills .. And their foster mother reported that Brendal and Earth were the ultimate playmates. Baby Brendal was ready for 'rough and tumble' playtime though Earth was much larger. Brendal and Earth are both good with children, other cats, and dogs.

Brendal and Earth came back to HSOV in mid-December and are currently sharing a cage in The Jungle Room (one of our adoptable cat rooms).

These photos were taken on December 21st when Brendal frolicked around our studio for several 'action shots' before posing for several boring still-life pictures to show off her true beauty.

Brendal weighed 4.8 lbs on December 28, 2024.

Brendal will be spayed (tentatively in late January 2025) before being adopted by her new family. She is also available for rescue.

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
