These two are inseparable, always by each other’s side, and they can’t wait to find a forever home to be part of their pack.
SUSHI, the snuggle bug, is like a little stuffed animal who wants nothing more than to be in your arms. His playful and goofy personality will keep you laughing—whether he’s standing on his hind paws to "beg" or tilting his head back and forth in "conversation." Sushi adores attention and will shower you with endless kisses to show his affection. He looks up to his big brother, Sachio, and happily follows him everywhere.
SACHIO, the responsible "big brother," always looks out for Sushi. He may be a little skittish at first, but once he feels safe, he warms up quickly and shows his adventurous side. Sachio loves exploring outside, playing chase, and being by your side. He’s incredibly loyal and protective, ensuring that his humans and Sushi are cared for. While he’s the duo's leader, Sachio also has a soft, sweet side that makes him irresistible.Together, Sachio and Sushi make the perfect pair. They’re playful, loving, and full of personality. We do not transport dogs. All dogs must be picked up from Northern VA in person by the adopter.

More about this rescue

Somerset Cottage Poodle Rescue, established in 2013, is an all volunteer 501c(3) dog rescue funded by your donations. We rescue companion and senior dogs, at risk for euthanasia, from overcrowded shelters and provide them with the medical attention they need. We also redone dogs for owners who can no longer care for them. We do not have a facility so all of our dogs live in foster homes through out the Northern Virginia area until their adoption day. We are proud that we find them perfectly matched forever homes and families. We rescue and find permanent homes for approximately 250 dogs a year.
