My name is Bartok!

Not interested in long walks in the cold Midwest winters? Bartok is your girl! She isn’t either. Currently, outside is only for doing her business and that happens within 10 feet of the door and back inside we go!



She isn’t aggressive with other dogs or any people. She is still coming out of her shell though so she needs time to trust and feel safe. Just be open to reading her signals! We haven’t heard her bark, yet. She doesn’t destroy or even bother anything on the floor so no judgement by her on the state of the house!



She’s very smart and knows “sit” and learned how to go up and down the ramp to the couch within about 5 minutes. She’s food/treat motivated so she will be very easy to train.



She loves a good snuggle session on the couch (probably her favorite thing other than meal time). Petting her is kind of addictive because she’s SO SOFT and she doesn’t shed.



The crate was very much her safe space when she first arrived but within a day or two you could see her trust and confidence start to shine.
