Ollie might be a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he is a loving, talkative companion! He will
sing sweetly for his supper and will politely ask for attention. This handsome boy craves pets and loves belly rubs.

Ollie loves to play, both by himself or with his favourite person. When he gets the zoomies and runs around the house, it's quite entertaining. At night, he will snuggle in for a cuddle, keeping you warm while you sleep.

Given that Ollie does not like loud noises, a quieter home is ideal for him. This sweet boy would love to become your best friend.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
