My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tadpole is an adorable male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 13, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Devola Street in Marietta Ohio fending for himself. Tadpole was a tiny, skinny little guy who was estimated to have been 6-months old at that time.

This handsome young man has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a precious chubby face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

Tadpole was given flea treatment and wormer on October 13, 2024. He was given vaccinations on October 15th and weighed 4.2 lbs that day. Tadpole was given booster vaccines on November 14, 2024.

We were happy to see that Tadpole had been enjoying good nutritional food for the past two months and weighed 8.4 lbs on December 1, 2024.

These photos were taken on December 21, 2024 when Tadpole posed for his 'glamour pictures' and to show off his body beautiful (smile). Tadpole enjoyed pussyfooting around our 'studio' and also to give us some classic Burt Reynolds poses while he politely begged for attention. Our photographer fell in love with Tadpole during his photo session and couldn't resist his charismatic personality.

Tadpole will be neutered (tentatively in late January 2025) before being adopted by his new family. He is also available for rescue.

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
