Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Alia is four years old, five on March 31st. We have had her since she was a puppy, and shes always been a great dog. She has recently become aggressive with one of our other dogs, that has always been in the house with her. She is a high energy dog, and with a new born in the house, we believe she may not being getting enough attention and/or isnt being stimulated enough and is acting out. We believe a home where she is the only dog would be better for her, where she can have all the attention. She is crate trained if needed, and house broken. She is extremely smart, and knows basic commands, but does require patience as her energy level can cause her to be a bit sporadic. Being a German shepherd, she can become anxious when over stimulated, or during storms or too much noise. She is good with kids, but because of her anxiousness, she may be better in a house with no kids as well as being an only dog. She is family to us, we will only allow her adoption if we believe it’s the best fit.
