My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dewalt – a wonderfully handsome little panther that is quite timid. This poor little boy arrived at the shelter at the beginning of January 2024 at the age of 5-6 months (he is now 1-1/2 years old!). He stays hidden most of the time, and he has even escaped photo sessions because he is nowhere to be seen. However, today Dewalt decided that it’s time for him to find his forever home, so he came out of hiding for photos! He is very sweet, and when petted, will lean into you for more. He just needs someone who will allow him some time to get adjusted to his new environment. The shelter is not a good place for him because he does not have a special human that will give attention only to him. He was found in a machine shop as a stray – thus the name Dewalt. Can you possibly be his special human who will make sure he does not stay another year in the shelter? If so, please visit him Tuesday-Saturday, 12-4!
