"She is a joy to foster," says Butterscotch's foster mom. "I cannot say enough good things about her." Butterscotch was adopted from a Kalkaska shelter but returned for inappropriate urination. TC Paw took her in and placed her in a foster home for retraining. Butterscotch, a really cute little buff colored girl, is an active, confident, fun kitten who is in a foster home with one dog and four cats and gets along well with everyone. She just wants to play and cuddle. Butterscotch is a singer, not just when she's being petted, but whenever she's with her people. She has a loud, wonderful song. Butterscotch loves to play - with toys, other cats, the dog, or with interactive toys and a person. She should be adopted with another playful kitty or into a home with a friendly cat or kitten. She's game for just about anything, and she's a good eater too. Butterscotch's foster, a veterinarian, found that Butterscotch has cerebellar hypoplasia. She is a “high stepper.” She walks with exaggerated movements, lifting her paws high. It also causes her to stand up instead of squat in the litter box, so she will need a litter box with very high sides and pee pads around it. The condition does not limit her from running, playing, or jumping on the cat condo. We think it makes her cuter. She will fit well into just about any home. Her foster is available to explain the few accommodations Butterscotch needs, as well as give Butterscotch's favorite toy to her new owner.
