My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fin, a 10 month old orange & white Brittany mix. Fin has the French Brittany black nose, with a short snout & long legs. Did I mention the cutest & fluffiest long tail! Fin was found abandoned out on the streets with his mother. They were saved and NBRAN was called. They sure are lucky! Fin loves everyone he meets & loves his foster brother, who is another Brittany. Fin is very kind, friendly, sweet and gentle, never playing too hard or rough. He is a bit nervous of new environments and noises at first, but bounces back quickly and loves learning. Fin is dog & child friendly but because he is still young & jumps, older kids would be best. He has done great with a 5 year old.  He hasn't met a cat, so unsure how he would do with one.

Fin is crate trained and actually goes in without asking when he sees treats or his food come out. Fin also waits to be released from his crate with the “ok” cue. He is potty trained & can go about 6 hours now without needing a break. Fin knows sit and is working on walking nicely on the leash. He is just a puppy and will need continued training to still learn his manners. He is so sweet and silly and he is always making everyone laugh.

Fin is healthy, neutered & up to date on all vaccinations & weighs about 32lbs. If you think he’s your perfect forever boy, please submit an adoption application at www.nbran.org and mention his name. He’s currently located in NC and can be transported up to 1400 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 or so miles.  The adoption fee is $350 to help cover his vetting and to help NBRAN continue to rescue pups like him!  For any further questions, please email kecarr72@icloud.com or  jessica@thesouthernway.com
