My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JayJay is a handsome orange & white youngster, about 6 months old (b'date mid June, 2024). He was found as a stray & taken to one of the vets we work with, where the staff kept him there for a few weeks until we could fit him into one of our foster homes. Everyone there loved him & thought about keeping him as an office cat; but although he liked other cats, he was afraid of the dogs.

JayJay is high energy, very active & playful. He's friendly & has gotten along with the other cats at his foster home; but he really needs another energetic, playful cat to have as a buddy; wouldn't do well as an only kitty. And no dogs - he is quite afraid of them - we wonder what happened to him before he was turned into the vets office!

Adoptions Events are held on Saturdays at the several local Petsmart and Petco stores. If you would like to meet a specific cat, please contact us ahead of time and we will bring the cat to the weekend event.

More about this rescue

Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working to end the plight and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens in the greater Cincinnati area. We do this by educating the general public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to lessen the drastic over-population of cats; we provide foster homes to cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and provide information and guidance to people working to help the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter and release) efforts.

Meet the cats every Saturday at our adoption events (details listed below), and you can see the cats on Petfinders and 1800save-a-pet in the hopes of finding good homes for them.
