Just prior to Christmas, a shelter volunteer was kind enough to give Napoleon some time away from the shelter. They described him as a perfect gentleman in their home. When he wasn’t napping, he was following them around the house to be present for whatever it was they were doing.
He is still looking for a home…

Napoleon is a playful and happy-go-lucky boy. He’s outgoing and loves everyone he meets.
He’s estimated to be about 1 year old and gets along well with other dogs.

Our facility requires a survey (application) to be filled out by each potential adopter in order to facilitate a good match between applicant and pet.

Feline $65
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, combo test, distemper vaccine, and rabies vaccine if old enough.
Canine $95
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, 1st distemper vaccine, and rabies vaccine and heartworm test if old enough.
Cash only is accepted.

The Wyandotte Animal Adoption Center acts as the adoption facility for Downriver Central Animal Control. The intake facility (located in Southgate, MI) handles all intakes (strays, abandoned animals, court cases...). The adoption facility (located in Wyandotte, MI) brings the animals over (if adoptable) and have completed their requisite holds at the intake facility. This can sometimes take a few weeks if the adoption center is at capacity. The facilities handle approximately 500-700 animals per year.
