Moana’s story is one of resilience and hope. Born into unimaginable circumstances, this brave little puppy has already overcome so much in her young life. Her mother, a starving and neglected dog, gave birth to Moana in an abandoned home, while her father was cruelly tied to a short rope outside. But thanks to the heroic efforts of the police and compassionate rescuers, Moana’s family was saved.
While her mom recovered, Moana was lovingly bottle-fed, growing into a happy, healthy, and affectionate pup. Now she’s ready for her next adventure—a real-life Disney ending with a family of her own!
Moana is a star in every way. She’s the first to arrive at dinner, the first to come running when called, and always full of love and joy. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes (from tiny pups to gentle giants) and is great with children.

Animal is Fostered in: Racine and able to go home on or after 1/7/25
He/She is scheduled for alteration on 1/6/25. If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration. We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK. Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled. If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded. We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us. We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments. Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog; CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated. PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.
Dewormed
All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam. All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources. Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found! Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.
