My name is Pepe Pablo!

Pepe Pablo is a 2 year old, male, poodle mix. He weighs 8 pounds and is still a little underweight. He is undergoing heart worm treatment because he is heart worm positive. 

Pepe Pablo will need a special adopter. He was not socialized before he came to Angels. This is what I know about him so far:

* He needs a dog companion, ideally one about his age who is playful. Pepe is still learning how to be a dog and gain confidence. 

* His house training is going well, but it’s due in large part to frequent supervised outings in our fenced back yard. 

* He is learning to like being in a crate. He sleeps in one at night, and it’s becoming his safe place. 

Pepe is still skittish about being picked up. He will come to you if you’re sitting down or on his level. He loves to be petted and be near his person, but he’s not ready yet to snuggle. 

This precious boy is going to be amazing when he realizes that he can trust people and gains some confidence. He wants to love and be loved. His adopter will need to be patient and understand that it will take him a while to decompress. He is improving every day!
