Meet Blue! This 3-4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix is a pint-sized bundle of love, weighing just 40 lbs. Blue was rescued from the tough streets of South Texas, but you’d never guess it by his sweet, affectionate nature. Blue is a true social butterfly! He adores people of all ages (yes, even the tiny toddler variety), and he’s great with other dogs too. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or snuggle time on the couch, Blue is always up for bonding with his favorite humans and canine companions. This loyal and loving boy is ready to leave his past behind and step into the life he truly deserves. Could your home be the happy ending Blue has been waiting for?

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
