My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is the perfect companion for those quiet evenings at home. She loves to curl up in your lap, purring softly as you read a book or watch your favorite show. Her gentle demeanor makes her an ideal pet for someone seeking a peaceful and loving presence in their life. However, it's essential to note that Daisy prefers the company of humans and other cats, as she is not good with dogs or small children.

When she’s not snuggling, Daisy enjoys engaging in playful activities. Her favorite pastime? Playing with string! This playful side of her personality makes her a joy to interact with, ensuring that you’ll never have a dull moment. Daisy also enjoys calm naps while sunbathing in a  window.

Daisy came from the same household as Draco. She is allergic to Revolution flea meds, meloxicam and fleas. She can also be a picky eater.

Additional adoption info

For Pet's Sake Rescue wants to insure that every animal goes to a forever home that can provide their every need including future medical care should they ever need it. For this reason, we ask each person interested in adopting to complete an application. The application requests information about the potential family including their home and occupants, as well as requests a vet references. If you do not have a vet reference, please contact us directly at adoptions@forpetssakerescue.org. During Covid-19 our home visits are changed to a video chat to insure safety of the animal.

We reserve the right to refuse an adoption. Most often times we know these animals on a personal level and can foresee it not being a good match for them though there are times when we have to refuse an adoption if there is a lack of comfort with the party.

Required: Completed application, photo ID with current address or an article of mail going to your current address in your name, and home video chat. We do not waive this process for anyone.

Adoption fees can be paid after you are given an approval. Invoices are emailed via PayPal. The deposit or transport fee holds your pet. Adoption fees are not refundable if you change your mind. Please be sure!

Do not complete an application if you are not sure you want a pet.

More about this rescue

For Pet's Sake Rescue is currently based in Long Beach, Mississippi.

This rescue specializes in feline rescues though occasionally take in miniature pigs and canines. Our goal is to provide strays and abused animals a safe haven to heal, become adoptable, and get a true chance at the life they deserve.

Our rescue focuses in healing animals and teaching them pet-like behaviors during their time with us. We spend time with each furbaby individually to learn their personality and make sure they are matched with the right family.
