Emory is a handsome brown tabby, who came to Heartland when he was very young. He was a bit shy at first, but is getting more sociable. He may need a little time to become comfortable with you and your home, however. He has been neutered, had all his kitten shots and his rabies, and is all ready to go to someone's home this holiday season. If you can be patient enough to give Emory some time to adjust, come meet him, and see if he may be the one for you.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. Heartland Small Animal Rescue is a non-profit serving South Bend & surrounding cities. We are comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers who work to find loving homes for homeless pets in our area.

Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
