My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Not just another pretty face, Louise is a Beagle with a super sweet personality to match! Timid at first, she loves having dog friends around to help build her confidence. She weighs less than 20 lbs. Louise would make a perfect companion for a calm home, with lots of walks to continue to introduce her to the outside world. She’s house trained and crate trained.

Louise gets along with dogs, fine with cats, shy with strangers, but with a little patience and lots of treats, she will transform into a loyal companion. Louise currently has a condition called "cherry eye" which is going to be corrected at her next vet appointment.

Louise will come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $200.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
