Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Loxley Queen of the Runway!
Loxley is a one-of-a-kind French Bulldog with a larger-than-life personality and a flair for the dramatic. This charming guy struts his stuff with all the confidence of a seasoned runway model, often walking around like a stiff board. He is our queen and loves wearing a shirt or a hoodie to match whatever personality he will be projecting that day! Don’t let his studious demeanor fool you—Loxley is full of quirks, playfulness, and a good dose of goofiness and love!
When Loxley came to us in October, he had barely any fur and was battling severe demodectic mange. After months of love, care, and medicated baths (once or twice a week), he’s made a tremendous recovery. His coat is growing back beautifully, with just a small patch left on his back as a reminder of how far he’s come. Loxley also follows a special diet and takes daily probiotics to manage his allergies.
Loxley is a smart cookie who’s almost mastered the doggie door (but would rather whine for attention) and is pretty good at letting you know when he needs to go out—although he does have a habit of marking one particular corner of the table (belly bands have been helping). He loves lounging in the sun on his elevated dog bed, and his favorite pastime is engaging in epic backyard wrestling matches with his besties, Pinkie and Petunia. While he gets along well with other dogs, he might join in if a tiff breaks out among his foster siblings.
Loxley is a lovable mix of independence and affection. He’ll happily curl up next to you, but he’s just as content doing his own thing. With his soulful eyes and pouty lip, he’ll steal your heart (and your forgiveness) in an instant.
His foster mom absolutely adores him, and while she’s heartbroken to list him for adoption, she knows Loxley deserves the perfect forever home. She has never come across a frenhie like this with such a unique personality.
Medical Notes:
Loxley occasionally experiences stiffness, but gabapentin every other day works wonders for his comfort and mobility. We really think that he could benefit from some acupuncture in his future. He must stay on a diet that meets his allergy needs and a daily probiotic and medicated baths.
The Ideal Home for Loxley:
A family who understands his unique personality, is willing to continue his special diet and baths, and can laugh at his quirks (like that infamous table marking). They must also have a wardrobe of clothes for him!
Ready to meet the one and only Loxley? He’ll strut his way into your life—and your heart—like the star he is! Loxley is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, apply on our website. Adoption donation fee $1050.00
