My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born in August of 2024, Bruno is a very handsome solid silver grey fellow. He and his littermates were found out in the storms brought to the Raleigh/Durham area by Hurricane Helene. Fortunately a good Samaritan brought them all in from the storm and our rescue was able to take them into our care. Bruno was hesitant with people at first. (Bruno didn't want you to talk about him.) But after much loving care and attention by his foster mom, Bruno has decided that people are not dangerous after all and now routinely asks for pets and loves. His purr motor is quite impressive! He loves to play with wand toys and crinkle balls and will provide a lifetime of fun for some lucky person.

Cat Tales Rescue NC is the nonprofit rescue arm of Cat Tales Cat Cafe, which provides a unique and invaluable avenue for adoptions. The Cat Cafe environment allows us to get to know each cat and adopter individually enabling us to set adopters up for success which leads to happier adoptions. Even previously overlooked cats get a chance to shine at the café. At the Cat Cafe, cats get adopted quickly, which allows us to be efficient and cost effective, but most importantly, cause the least amount of stress on the cats.
