Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We got Button from the shelter in 2015. She’s always been territorial but in the past year it has just became a problem with our landlord. She barks at the neighbors. She barks at new people but when let out of her kennel she’s NEVER tried to bite them or growled at them. I’d describe her at “all talk no action” lol. We don’t have cats so we don’t know how she is with them. Our kid was about 8 when we got her so that wasn’t an issue. Not sure how she’d do with other dogs but at the vet she’s never been aggressive towards them. She’s very sweet especially towards her people, sweet towards strangers once out of her kennel. Laid back and not high maintenance. Just barks so much at the neighbors that the landlord is sort of getting to the point that it’s us or the dog that leaves, we don’t want to take her to the shelter so we’re trying g to get an early start on finding her a good loving home. We’d like to stay in contact with the new owners.
