Four has a unique way of communicating his affection with his eyes that speak volumes, expressing a longing for companionship and a desire to give love. When Four feels safe and knows he can trust his people, he becomes a cuddle bug who loves attention. Four walks well on leash and he loves his frequent daily adventures. Four has lived with another dog before and could enjoy having another furry friend around. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
