My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Minnie!

Minnie hit the jackpot and is being fostered by a dog trainer in the North Boulder Mountains. She is a small girl at only 25lbs and young at age 1

**Minnie is house trained, crate trained and walks on leash well. She has even done some off leash work
**Minnie is slowly coming out of her shell and is doing amazing at her foster home where she gets excited to see her people and play with other dogs
**She is a mellow cattle dog but I am sure will get more energy as she comes out of her shell - She loves to go for runs and hikes
**She does great with other dogs but does best with other confident well socialized dogs. She can be a little cattle dog nippy at things she wants to control but has taken corrections well!

She comes fully vetted and with Two free dog training sessions as all our dogs do

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
