My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ryley!!
Ryley is looking for a forever home!!

She is about 3 years old and 45lbs (shepherd mix??)

She spent over a year at a shelter in Texas waiting for her chance and nobody wanted to give her one. We should have saved this girl a long time ago cause she’s perfect

**she is a bit shy and nervous of loud noisy areas (I would be too if I spent almost two years at a very busy shelter) but once she trusts you, she’s a totally love bug
**Ryley would love another dog in the home to play with and learn from. If has been proven to really help her over all confidence
**She ignores the cats in her foster home and would be fine sharing a home with cats
**She is good with older kids just wouldnt do well in a house that is has young kids running around and making lots of noise as she still gets spooked easy
**She is an active girl that loves to go for walks, hikes and runs!

Comes fully vetted and with two free dog training sessions as all our dogs do!

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
