My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope and her brother Purrcival were recently rescued and will soon be in need of a permanent home. They're estimated at 7-8 weeks old and are being cared for in a foster home. Each has a lovely fur coat with russian blue coloring.

These kittens are making good progress since being separated from their feral mama. They're affectionate and playful, lively and eating well. Their different personalities are coming through, one being a little more confident and the other a bit more shy. Penelope and Purrcival need just a bit more time before they're ready to go to their adoptive home, but if you're interested please contact us and ask about pre-adopting.

We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
