Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This four-legged culinary genius is ready to serve up some love! Chef Boyardee, or `Chef` for short, is a sweet and goofy pup with a heart as big as a spaghetti pot. He’s a medium-sized (40 pounds) mixed breed(Sharpei and Pit mix), and around a year old with big smile and a fun loving attitude. He loves playing with toys, long walks, and snuggling up with his favorite people. He’s also a pro at taste-testing (especially if treats are involved) and will gladly be your sous-chef in the kitchen. His fosters have found that cheese is his favorite reward for hard work but he is also very enthusiatic for any treat he can find.
Chef is friendly with people and does well with dogs his size and bigger. Chef would do best in a home without small dogs, cats, or pocket pets as he does have prey drive. He’s working on his manners in his foster home as well as crate training and would thrive in a home that continues his training with patience and love. Chef is house broken, very smart/ food oriented, and does well in the crate when left alone.
If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, and affectionate companion who will always be there to make you smile, Chef Boyardee is your guy! Please reach out to PACC.adoptafoster@pima.gov if you are interested in adopting Chef - he’s ready to bring some flavor to your life!
