Amy Jo is a very playful, high energy, affectionate 3 year old girl! After 9 months with her, we can say a few things: first, she is incredibly friendly with humans and loves every person she meets- the vet who updated her shots actually couldn’t ever get a heart rate because she never stopped purring! Guests to our home are immediately greeted by a curious Amy. She is delighted to be carried around, held like a baby, and doesn’t even mind her nail trims. She’s the sweetest.
Secondly, Amy Jo would do best with someone who works from home, a retiree, a stay at home parent, or similar- likely not someone who is away from home most of the day. She is a snuggly cat who also needs a relatively high amount of stimulation.
Lastly, Amy most likely needs a home with no other cats. She grew up with a large dog, and even with a lot of time and intervention, she just doesn’t “get” cats and aggression from our own cats is escalating. We will miss her, but she deserves a safer environment.
