My name is Bashful!

Meet Bashful, or “Bash” for short! Bash might be a little cautious at first, preferring to approach and sniff new people on his terms, but once he warms up, personal space becomes a distant memory! He is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle—so much so that if there’s no room, he might just plop right on top of you.

Bash adores playing tug-of-war with a rope toy and enjoys any toy you give him, though plush toys don’t stand a chance—his mission is always to find and remove the squeakers! This sweet guy snores while he sleeps (adorably, of course) and has a quirky habit of smushing his head against people before settling in for a cuddle.

Most of Bash’s days are spent snoozing, except for the occasional burst of zoomies. He absolutely loves long walks, no matter the weather, and is happiest exploring the great outdoors. Bash does have a sensitive side and seems to get nervous around certain commands, like “off” or “come here,” which might hint at a past where those phrases were used harshly. When he hears them, he often makes himself small or rolls over to show his belly in submission.

Bash is a sweet, loving boy looking for a home where he can feel safe and cherished. With patience and understanding, he’ll reward you with endless affection and unforgettable companionship.
