Make way on the road for the new and improved Chevy, nka Chevelle!
Chevelle is a 1 year old English Bulldog who came into rescue as a sweet girl in need of some TLC! You can see by her before photos that she was a little underweight, was in desperate need of a pedicure, and had a double case of cherry eyes that was making it hard and uncomfortable for her to see. Now - just look at this girl GO! She has gone from Cherry eyes to CHERRY CONDITION!
Chevelle still has a heart of gold but, now that she is firing on all cylinders, we are seeing that puppy personality come to the surface - and we couldn't be happier!
What is Chevelle looking for in a forever home?
Since Chevelle is still a puppy, her needs are pretty standard. She needs someone who will keep her clean, handle her routine maintenance, and keep her days fueled by LOVE! Chevelle needs a forever family who will be ready to play at a moments notice and who can help her discover everything there is to know about this crazy BIG world!
As for Chevelle's features? This girl is a lover! She is crazy about er people and would love to be near you all the time. Chevelle is so smart and learns things very quickly! While she doesn't have a warning light, she sure does have an alarm sound when she is need of some time "outside". She is probably 98% of the way to being a certified "potty training master" but will need patience when entering a new home as there is always an adjustment period. With frequent trips outside and access to a potty pad, she is good to go! Heads up though, she tends to be a gas guzzler so be ready when it is time to refuel. In fact, that may be her favorite time of the day!
Chevelle is still a puppy so will still need some work on some things like walking on a leash and basic commands but she is so smart that she should pick it up in no time!
Chevelle is great with other dogs, loves all people, and has the energy and personality perfect for kids!
