Curry is a little doll! Weighing in at 8 lbs he is the cutest, smartest little guy. It takes a few days for him to warm up to you but once he does he'll want hugs, kisses and belly rubs! Don't think he would do well with small kids with his limited eye sight and quick movements. He has quite the bark, and does well with my other dogs (2 of which are blind). Loves to play and is curious, gets underfoot because he wants to be near you.
Poor Curry was a hot mess, he was terrified, in pain, had a bulging eye, covered in mats and needed a shave and eye removal for comfort and his health. He is settling in now, at first he was so nervous to come near him, now he immediately rolls over for belly rubs. At 1.5 years old and 8 pounds he has turned into a flutter of affection and will need a home that will continue to provide him the security he needs.
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
