My name is Akeh!

Meet Akeh (we call him Ajay)!

Akeh is a smart and eager learner who already knows how to sit, shake, and go "down" most of the time, showing great potential for training. His playful side is emerging as he gets more comfortable, and he’s brimming with energy and curiosity! To channel his enthusiasm, he’s been staying leashed to ensure good habits while exploring his surroundings.

Akeh has a wonderfully docile and gentle demeanor, making him a fantastic companion for another loving, accepting dog who can be his playmate. He thrives with positive reinforcement and is incredibly treat-motivated, so training with him is not only productive but also a joy. Although leash manners are still a work in progress, he’s ready to learn and loves new challenges.

This sweet boy shows no aggression and is as affectionate as can be. He’s been a great sport about wearing his sweater, enjoys his toys, bones, and treats, and made the holidays extra special with his good behavior. While he’s still learning commands like “off,” “down,” “place,” and “kennel up,” he’s showing consistent progress and is responsive to direction.

Though he may cry a bit when left alone, he’s adjusting well and finds comfort in having a cozy setup. With time and consistency, his confidence and independence are sure to grow.
