Lucky came from a high kill shelter in Bakersfield County. He is a perfect smedium size at around 30 pounds fully grown and around 3 years old. Lucky is mastering essential commands and getting the hang of leash walking. He's making great strides in potty training, though he occasionally has a mishap. This adorable pup appears some type of low rider breed, radiating sweetness in every interaction. He enjoys the company of other dogs and people of all ages, making him a wonderful companion for families, especially those with children. And when the energy hits, he certainly knows how to unleash the zoomies!

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
