My name is Cooper!

Y'all, Cooper is so loved. He's a true-blue Texas mix, athletic, soulful, snuggly and healthy. We really don't want to rehome him, but due to a couple of situations it's unavoidable. He can be a spicy little guy -- very loving but also resource guards, potentially because he was the runt of the litter. We also have an autistic child who doesn't get it when we say, "Don't aggravate the dog," which has resulted in a bite. (Cooper was highly, ridiculously provoked.) In addition, we have a 2-year-old next door who doesn't yet understand boundaries, so we have to be proactive in finding Cooper a happy home. We suggest it be one with with either older, well-mannered children or no children. Cooper is approx 2 yrs 8 mos, has gone through basic obedience training, is current on rabies and housetrained.
